Default How can I stop Word's Getting Started window from appearing?

You probably had the Task Pane Controller add-in. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...owTaskPane.htm.

I used to have a macro that prevented the Getting Started window/box from
appearing each time I launch Word. But I lost it when my hard drive

crashed.
Is there a way to prevent Getting Started from appearing?
