Normal.dot (New blank page template)
I use Word 2003. When I complete a sentence and press carriage return
(enter), my cursor is sent to the bottom of the page, and every subsequent carriage return sends the new line up the page, closer to the first line. I can find no reason for this in page layout or with "reveal codes." Word also stops me from saving a blanked out old letter as the default template. Is there a solution, and will it resolve the problem for word on the other user accounts on my computer? Thanks in advance. |

Normal.dot (New blank page template)
On the Layout tab of Page Setup, change the vertical alignment from
Justified to Top. You cannot create Normal.dot; only Word can do that. But if you are having this problem in all new documents, then open a new document, change the vertical alignment (without making any other changes), click Default... in the Page Setup dialog, and answer yes.
