Printing a DOC with filename included, possible?
Is it possible (im sure it is) to print a file and have the filename
automatically print on the bottom of it or somewhere? |

Printing a DOC with filename included, possible?
1. Go to "View" - "Header and Footer" in the menu.
2. On the "Header and Footer" toolbar you select the 3rd icon from the right, which is called "Switch Between Header and Footer" (= you have to say a few sec. with the mouse on the icon and a context menu will appear and telling you the name of the icon). 3. Select the "Insert AutoText" button on the left of the "Header and Footer" toolbar 4. Select something called "file name" (sorry, my version is in Swiss German and it is called 'Dateinamen'. 'file name' may not be the correct translation, but it might be something similar.). 5. Click "Close" on the "Header and Footer" toolbar Kind regards, Simon "Greg" wrote: Is it possible (im sure it is) to print a file and have the filename automatically print on the bottom of it or somewhere? |
