Default How do I make custom buttons to assign to macros in Word 2007

In Word 2003 I could make custom buttons that could be assigned to macros. In
Word 2007, using the Quick Access Toolbar, I can assign buttons to macros,
but the choices are limited to a default set of icons.

Can I use other icons somehow, or can I edit these icons (buttons) with an
icon editor such as Axailis? (So far, I have not even been able to find the
icons with Axailis.)

You can't - unless you still have access to Word 2003 -

(linked from that page) or see -

Thanks for the help Graham,

I'll start looking for an easy to use ribbon editor that will let me assign
my own icons to macros. A software niche waiting to be filled.
