How do I make custom buttons to assign to macros in Word 2007
In Word 2003 I could make custom buttons that could be assigned to macros. In
Word 2007, using the Quick Access Toolbar, I can assign buttons to macros, but the choices are limited to a default set of icons. Can I use other icons somehow, or can I edit these icons (buttons) with an icon editor such as Axailis? (So far, I have not even been able to find the icons with Axailis.) |

You can't - unless you still have access to Word 2003 -
http://www.gmayor.com/Toolbars_in_word_2007.htm or use a ribbon editor (linked from that page) or see - http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Customize_Ribbon.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Larry wrote: In Word 2003 I could make custom buttons that could be assigned to macros. How do I make custom buttons to assign to macros in Word 2007
Thanks for the help Graham,
I'll start looking for an easy to use ribbon editor that will let me assign my own icons to macros. A software niche waiting to be filled.
