Default Page orientation and footer?

Hello,

I always have a problem with page numbers in the footer when I change
orientation to landscape. If I select Page Setup / This Point Forward, any
changes to the footer seems to effect the whole document anyway.

Could someone explain the correct way to insert a Landscape page into a
Portrait document and maintain the page numbering in the center of the page?

Thanks a lot,

Bob
