Hi McLoed,
If you're referring to the changes made in a document through track changes you can use Office Button=Print=Print=Print What=List of Markup ============ "mccloed" wrote in message ... in Word 2007, how can I extract just the redlines made in a document and how would I automate that? -- Bob Buckland ?:-) MS Office System Products MVP *Courtesy is not expensive and can pay big dividends* |

I don't care to print them. I want to capture them in a separate document.

You could use the macro found at the address below to extract the tracked
changes to a new document: http://www.thedoctools.com/index.php...hanges_extract -- Regards Lene Fredborg DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "mccloed" wrote: I don't care to print them. Thank you. That's almost what I'm looking for. I actually need to extract
any redline and place it in a new file just as it looks in the redlined document and not in a list of changes. I'm sure the macro could be modified to do this. I also need to have around 20-25 lines before and after the redline.
