Hello I have a word template (.dot) that I use. The template contains
macros that I find useful. When I save as a document (.doc) I do not want the macros saved with the document. How do I do this? Thanks jb |

The macros are available when you open the document only because the document is attached to the template. If you send the document to another computer, the linkage will be broken and the macros won't be there. On your own computer, to break the linkage (if you really want to do that), go to Tools Templates & Add-Ins and change the attached template -- perhaps to Normal.dot. Read http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/temp...ons/index.html for more details. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
