Default Save a document (.doc) without the macros that are in the template(.dot)

Hello I have a word template (.dot) that I use. The template contains
macros that I find useful. When I save as a document (.doc) I do not
want the macros saved with the document. How do I do this?

Thanks

If you based the document on the template, then the macros always stay in the
template, not in the document. The macros are available when you open the
document only because the document is attached to the template.

If you send the document to another computer, the linkage will be broken and the
macros won't be there.

On your own computer, to break the linkage (if you really want to do that), go
to Tools Templates & Add-Ins and change the attached template -- perhaps to
Normal.dot.

Read http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/temp...ons/index.html for more
details.
