When I start up Word or Excel, I must sit through a lengthy "configuration
process". I have just re-installed MS Student Office 2007 after a computer crash and system restore. In the initial install (before the system restore) it never did this--just opened the program with no wait. Can I get rid of this nuisance? |

I too am having this problem. The circumstances are exactly the same- on
reinstalling after a hard drive reformat, Word now takes forever to configure itself before I can use it. Please help. -- Holla back! Thanks!!
