I prefer to use the small, square box-shaped bullet, but no matter how often
I select it, Word returns to the round bullet. A small issue, but very annoying! |

Modify the List Bullet style to include the desired bullet. Then apply that
style (which can be easily done by pressing Ctrl+Shift+L) whenever you need bullet formatting. Note that Word 2007 doesn't have such a thing as a "default bullet"; what you get when clicking the Bullet button is the most recently chosen format within the current Word document. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Gige" wrote in message ...
