When I do a mail merge and am asked to select the data source, Word always
starts in C:\Documents and Settings\fredp\My Documents\My Data Sources Is there a way to change the starting directory? Thanks Fred |

Yes and no. The setting is determined by a registry entry, but you can only
change it to a location on the same drive as the My Documents folder. For more details see the Data Selection section of http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_lab...th_word_xp.htm or http://www.gmayor.com/merge_labels_with_word_2007.htm as appropriate. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org "Fredrated" wrote in message ...
