Since 2007 version of Word mailmerge has become more complicated rather than
less so. this is mainly because of the fields that are automatically given to the address block, which are American. To by pass these can be complicated and requires trial and error. Also if you put in a field at a time then you have to insert and close each time - again time consuming. What I would very much like to see is an alternative to the default American address fields that the user can decide on for themselves. There are more users than American and Microsoft needs to take account of this. -- Mary ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
