I am printing a directory by merging data from Excel into a Word document.
After the merge is complete, the record that is right at the page break is lost. I can't tell if it's dropping at the bottom of the page, or the top of the next page, or why. |

How do you have the mailmerge main document set up? Is it a Directory type
main document which is what used to be called a Catalog main document in versions of Word before XP? With a Directory or Catalog type mail merge main document, there should be no Next Record fields anywhere in the document. If you have your catalog set up as a FormLetter or Label type mailmerge main document, you do not need a Next Record field before the first Mergefield in the document, and where they are required, they should always be located before the mergefields, not after. If you have a FormLetter or Label type mailmerge maindocument set up and you have the Next Record field after the last mergefields on the page, a record will be skipped on every page break, because a next record command is automatically applied at the pagebreak. -- Hope this helps.
