Hi ?B?cmlja2Vy?=,
Noticed other people having the same problem. Is there an answer or do I have to purchase a newer version of Office? And what, more precisely, is the problem you're experiencing? I can't recall ever having any major problems with envelopes and labels in Word 97... When I click on tools, envelopes and labels, then labels, A message says"not
a valid measurement". In envelopes when choosing fonts or trying to print, you get the same message. Someone else in this forum has the same problem. There seems to be some glitches when using Word 97 with Windows XP. Never had this problem with Windows 98. If you have a copy of Office 97, try installing it on a computer with XP and see what you get. Thanks for your interest. Windows 98 is much less fussy than Windows XP which is why you could take
liberties with it and why it was forever crashing. XP will be using a different printer driver and the different margin settings can throw out errors. http://www.gmayor.com/changing_envelope_layout.htm although prepared for later Word versions should illustrate the basics of resetting envelope parameters - even if the dialog boxes may be slightly different. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org ricker wrote: When I click on tools, envelopes and labels, then labels, A message says"not a valid measurement".
