Hi
Can someone please help with this really annoying mail merge formatting problem. I have an Excel data source with a date showing the format dd/mm/yyyy which is what I want. However, when I merge it into my word document and preview it, the format comes out as m/d/yyyy For example a date of 31/03/2005 (correct) comes out as 3/31/2005 (incorrect) I am aware that the format of the the merged field can be changed by using Alt + F9 which shows {MERGEFIELD "Clf_last_ye_date"} Could someone please tell me what format I need to place in this to correct the output of my date field. Thanks very much |
