I am creating a webage using word 2003. I have created a table of contents
and have all the heading. It is all now in one big .doc that i can save as a htm and put up. you can look at it at: http://www.people.virginia.edu/~jlb6j/bridge/conv.htm The table of contents is at the top and it links to everything down the page. I can put the TOC in a frame and have it link to everything as well. Here is what i want it to do. I want each of the "Heading 1" to have a htm page of its own so that when i click on that, it opens up a wepage with only that material in it. Rigth now everything is within in one file. I really don't want to have to do this manually. And I would prefer to use Word to Front Page, but can switch. Ideas? Thanks |

I've never used it, but have heard that this is one of the more sensible opportunities to convert (a copy!) of your document to a MasterDocument turn all the individual chapters into SubDocuments. Make sure you read the "usualy caveats" about using that feature (search for "Master Document" in these groups).
