Default How do I permanently delete the 'create drawing here' response?

When I click on the text box icon in MS Word 2002 it results in a 'create
drawing here' box on my document. I just want to create a text box not a
drawing. How do I permanently disable this response so it will be like MS
Word 97 when I click on the text box icon?

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the
"Automatically create drawing canvas" box | OK.
