A recent update occured in Microsoft word. I now cannot use the backspace
key to delete a highlighted section. Also, instead of overwriting highlighted text, the program merely inserts new text as though I had not highlighted in the first place. I find these changes to be extremely frustrating as the delete key barely works on my computer and when I am editing a thought, I like to be able to highlight the section and completely write over it with my new thought. There is a lot more editing to be done the new way. The new way, I now have to pick through my text and figure out where it begins and where it ends. This is very frustrating and I would like to see these "new features" kicked to the gigantic circular file in the corner of my Office. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
