I wonder if you can help with this unusual problem. At my place of work, we
share Word documents and Data sources out on a network drive. Anyone may extract data from our database and use one of our prewritten Word 2003 mail merge documents to merge the data source with. We are having a problem with different installations of Word 2003 not able to recognize a bookmark in a mail merge document. For example, we might have a bookmark that comes from an Insert/File/Range/Insert as link document. When different stations run this mail merge, some stations do not recognize the bookmark that is being inserted into the merged document. Everyone is running the same version of Word--Word 2003. Is there some setting that each station needs to have to recognize this bookmark? Any help would be appreciated. |
