open a new blank word document and header takes up half the page - as such
the cursor start half down and won't go up. also opening some existing documents seems to create randomly sized headers. the footers are all fine. i have tried dragging the bottom marker in the side ruler, but if it does anything it makes the header fill the page, rather than smaller...... |

The problem could be the vertical alignment setting:
Select File Page Setup Layout tab. Make sure €śVertical alignment€ť is set to €śTop€ť. Then click the €śDefault€ť button to change the setting in your Normal.dot template. -- Regards Lene Fredborg DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "hepburn" wrote: open a new blank word document and header takes up half the page - as such the cursor start half down and won't go up. also opening some existing documents seems to create randomly sized headers. the footers are all fine. i have tried dragging the bottom marker in the side ruler, but if it does anything it makes the header fill the page, rather than smaller...... |
