Hi, all:
I have several large documents with this problem. If I make some changes with "track changes" on, Word correctly shows the changes and associates them with my name--both additions and deletions. I can add comments and they show with my initials. (I am doing this in page view) So far, so good. Then I hit save and Word removes my name and initials from all changes and comments and replaces them with "Author" or "A." The same thing happens on other peoples machines when they comment on these files. I can start a new doc with my normal template and do not get this response--only with these big documents. Does anyone know what could be causing this? It is tough to make sense of comments from multiple reviewers when they all say "Author." Thanks, Jim T |
