Default uploading word onto the internet

i recently tried uploading my word document onto the internet but it's saying
that it won't let me because i need to use (.doc) or (.txt) the version i am
using is microsoft works word processor. so how can i upload my document? any
help will be great cheers

Works is not Word, but with Works, you can probably save as a .txt file.

And with recent versions of Works you can save as DOC also.

Default uploading word onto the internet

It sounds like you're tying to upload a resume (been there, done that). Did
you check to see if your version of Works allows you to do a Save As and
change the file type?
