Where do I find this option in word 2007? I cannot find it anymore. I need
to have the local file saved to a network drive and my backup to the hard drive of the computer. |

Word has always saved its backup files in the same folder as the document.
There is no option to save it elsewhere in this or earlier versions. However you could create a macro to save a second copy wherever you like - see the macro to save a document to two locations at http://www.gmayor.com/automatically_backup.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org oscar615 wrote: Where do I find this option in word 2007?
