Default hyperlink to access queries

Is there any way to hyperlink in a word document to run an access query?

Do you mean "to run an Access query", or "run an Access query and put the
results in the document" ?

If it's the latter, enable the DATABASE toolbar in Word and use
Insert|Database to insert a DATABASE field that you can update to insert the
results

If the former, I'm not sure you could do it with a hyperlink, but you could
probably use a Macrobutton and some Word VBA to do it.

Thank you for your help. I found a WD97 thread from a while back that said
there was something in the hyperlink about going to a place in the specified
file, but I dont see it on the newer versions of office. Either way, I will
probably write a macro.
