I have a standard template for typing faxes. I recorded a macro years ago
and can't remember how I did it. When I open the template, it used to throw a number of dialogue boxes up. I entered the information and it inserted it at the specific places. for instance, the first one asked me for the name who the fax was to and I typed it in. The second box asked me for the fax number, etc etc. Any ideas? |

There is no way you can record a macro to create userforms to gather data.
You will have to code it by hand - see Word MVP FAQ - Userforms http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms.htm You could use simpler macrobutton fields http://www.gmayor.com/Macrobutton.htm in your template or you could use the method shown on that page to insert address data from Outlook. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org CK wrote: I have a standard template for typing faxes.
