I select the text and then click on a style in the gallery and nothing
happens. This doesn't happen every time but it seems that some paragraphs just get stuck on one style and are impossible to change. Does anyone have any ideas? |

Hi CircleP
Select the paragraphs with the problems and do ctrl-q and ctrl-spacebar. That removes all direct formatting from the paragraph. If that doesn't work, write back. In the toolbar at the top of the screen is a box that shows the style name (eg Normal, Heading 1, Body Text). When you apply a style that doesn't appear to work, does the name of the style change in the style box? And, what version of Word are you using? Hope this helps. Shauna Kelly.
