You need the old Word for DOS converter which you can download from my web

It may not be a converter issue but rather the file blocking problem created
by Office 2003 SP3. In which case, the KB article at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938810 will provide the needed assistance (I strongly recommend Method 1). -- Suzanne S.
