Default Inserting graphics

Hello,

I am creating a 40-page document with our own company template. I am having
a difficult time inserting the jpgs I've created into numbered lists.

When I insert them, I've been setting the wrapping to "top and bottom" and
deselecting the "allow overlap" and "layout in table cell" for the picture
format. This seems to be the best way to work with positioning the graphic
I've found. However, when I try to reposition the graphic, it throws all the
other graphics off. I've also had to use soft returns between the numbered
steps in order to insert the graphics.

Does anyone have a better suggestion on how to insert graphics into numbered
lists?

Thanks!

Have you tried, In Line with Text, activate Move Object with Text, but not
the others. This tends to stop the clash with other objects, so long as those
objects are the same setting. Do you have the Picture Placeholders viewing?
This could help indicate where the clashes are occuring.
You did not mention your version or OS, this is for 2003 and older, not 2007.
Hope this helps.

I will try this. We have 07, so not sure I have the Picture Placeholder
view. I'll check it out. Thank you very much!
