If you have inserted the excel sheet as a picture, which appears to be the
case, it is no longer an excel worksheet sheet but a graphic. Neither Word nor Excel have the ability to convert graphics to tables - for that you would need to extract the image http://www.gmayor.com/extract_images_from_word.htm and use OCR software to attempt a conversion to a table.
