I can easily embed an object into Word, the problem is I want to detach that
embedded object. I know i can double click to open if the embedded file is another Office document or text file. I need to embed a file from the hard drive into a Word document, but then have a person getting the Word document be able to detach the file and use it. This appears to not be possible in Word. Does anyone know of a work around. The file is not an executable file, just an object file that has to be imported by a program and otherwise unless able to be detached and imported via this other program. |
