Why can't I download a template with 2007 Home and Student. An alert box
comes up saying my Word is not genuine. It was purchased through Office
Depot.

If your Office 2007 really is genuine, then it might fail validation if
you have one or more individual features from an older Office version
installed, but you didn't actually install the older Office version.
For example, you might have installed only the Office shortcut bar
feature or proofing tools feature from an older Office version.

I am having the same problem, if what you are saying is correct. How does
one fix the problem? I have Office Standard 2007 - For Academic Use Only and
I installed it on a new Dell Inspiron in 2/2007 running Windows Vista.
