![]() Hi, I am new to applying/using styles in Word - so I might be missing something obvious here. I have set the Heading 1 Style to a certain Numbering (or Bullets) and Heading 2 Style to a different Numbering Scheme. I would like that after every new Heading 1 - the next Heading 2 should restart its numbering. What Word does now: I Heading 1 1. Heading 2 2. Heading 2 3. Heading 2 II Heading 1 4. Heading 2 5. Heading 2 6. Heading 2 What I want: I Heading 1 1. Heading 2 2. Heading 2 3. Heading 2 II Heading 1 1. Heading 2 2. Heading 2 3. Heading 2 Am I clear in my description. If not let me know and I would try to explain (because I don't know the jargon) I hope someone has some ideas. I am using Word 2002 SP3. Thanks a lot. O.O. |

Thanks again Suzanne. This worked. I did not know that there was a way
to link the numbering scheme to the style - I think I was doing it the other way around. O.O. On Nov 24, 5:46 pm, "Suzanne S.
