In office 2007 how do you insert filepath into footer?
I am trying to identfy where documents are found in my computer. I have been
told that I can create a filepath insert into the document and/or the footer itself. Any help with 2007 office would be appreciated. |

The following field will do it for you:
filename \p You can do it by using Insert (ribbon) - Quickparts - Field - select FileName (tick 'Add path to filename'), then click OK. Or, manually, press Ctrl+F9, type filename \p, then press F9. -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Author of the Word 2007 Bible Blog: http://word2007bible.herbtyson.com Web: http://www.herbtyson.com "R.
